So glad you are joining me on this fitness challenge. I am hoping as a team we can achieve to cover 500 miles in 6 weeks. I have 7-8 of us participating. Hopefully you will find it helpful and fun to achieve the goals you have in fitness whether it is just to start moving, be more active, lose weight, etc.
Feel free to post in comments what your goals are for the week whether it is trying to walk 30 min 3 times or do a workout video. Everyone is at different fitness levels and have different time restraints, so just do the best you can.
This is to be fun and encouraging. Some weeks you'll be able to exceed the minimum 12 miles other weeks you might not make it, but hopefully working as a team we'll be able achieve the goal of 500miles by the end of 6 weeks.
This format is pretty similar to what I set up for my previous fitness challenge I did. On the left is where you can check-in to log what you did. I logged an example for you to see when you click on the stats link. If you right click and open in new tab you don't lose the fitness challenge page. I have it set up that one 1 hour will be equilvalent to 4 miles. So if you do yoga for 1 hour you can record 4 miles. However if you exceed the 4 miles in an hour by biking or something record the mileage.
If you have questions/suggestions or you can't see something b/c I screwed up privelages or something let me know and I'll try to fix. it.
I'm hoping to start next week - May 15. One week to gear up!

Let me know if you want to think of a different team goal other than 3 hours/week or 12miles/week. I'm open to whatever we can do to achieve your fitness goals. I like having a team goal so that we can help each other when someone is not having lots of time to workout, but you might that particular week.
No worries though if the 3 hours/12miles/week doesn't fit your fitness goal. We are just here to support. For those who like to bike they can cover lots of miles vs someone who likes to walk, but they may workout the same amount of time.
I just checked in and put 1 hour Yoga on Mon, but it didn't show up on the team summary. Probably it will take a while to update? Please let me know if I have done it wrong or I should do it again.

I have to manually update the log in the post, but you can see it when you click on the spreadsheet stat tracker on the left. I will try to update daily.

I saw it, thanks! It must cause you lots of work... So I will continue input inf. to "Check In" after the workout. I'm thinking to take DS to a race tonight.
